David joined LOIM as Global Chief Risk Officer in 2023. 

Before starting at LOIM, David was global head of head of the risk and quantitative analysis department in Blackrock’s alternatives division. Earlier, he served as chief risk officer at US asset manager Commonfund; global head of hedge fund and private equity risk at UBS Investment Bank; and chief risk officer at Singaporean investment firm Temasek. 

From 2015 to 2020, David served as an adjunct Professor of Finance at the Yale School of Management. 

David holds a BA in economics, statistics and history from Bowdoin College; an MSc in international economics from Yale University; and an MBA in international finance from the Yale School of Management. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
