LOIM wins five Lipper Fund Awards for Asia Value Bond and Swiss Franc Credit Bond

key takeaways.

  • Asia Value Bond recognised for outstanding three and 10‑year performance in Asia hard‑currency credit, achieving the 10‑year award for the third consecutive time
  • Swiss Franc Credit Bond (Foreign) honoured for consistent three, five and 10‑year results in CHF corporate credit.

Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) is delighted to announce that two of its flagship regional fixed‑income strategies – Asia Value Bond and Swiss Franc Credit Bond (Foreign) – have been recognised at the prestigious LSEG Lipper Fund Awards in the Europe Active Awards category for their consistently strong risk-adjusted performance.

Asia Value Bond: expertise in Asia hard-currency credit

The Asia Value Bond strategy received awards in the Bond Asia Pacific Hard Currency category for both its three‑year and 10‑year track records. Managed through a benchmark‑agnostic, value‑oriented approach, the strategy aims to capture resilient opportunities across Asia’s fast‑evolving hard‑currency credit universe. Led by the same team since its inception in 2013, the strategy applies disciplined bottom‑up selection with integrated top‑down analysis.

Dhiraj Bajaj, CIO, Asia Fixed Income & Equities at LOIM, said: “Receiving this recognition is a great moment to highlight our longstanding track record in the Asia Value Bond strategy. This year is especially meaningful, as it marks our ‘hat-trick’ of 10‑year awards, underscoring the consistency and resilience of our approach over a full decade. More importantly, it is a testament to our team, which remains dedicated to uncovering value in global credit markets through deep research, disciplined portfolio construction, and a long-term focus on risk-adjusted returns. In recent years, Asia credit has emerged as a distinct growth market, supported by strong fundamentals and offering attractive value relative to global credit.”

Swiss Franc Credit Bond: persistent focus on Swiss credit risk

The Swiss Franc Credit Bond (Foreign) strategy was honoured across three, five and 10‑year periods in the Bond Global CHF category, demonstrating enduring resilience and consistency through multiple market environments. By combining global corporate credit research with a CHF‑focused mandate, the strategy provides access to high‑quality issuers, underscoring its reputation for stability and disciplined credit selection.

Markus Thöny, Head of Swiss Fixed Income at LOIM, said: “We are delighted that the Swiss Franc Credit Bond strategy has been recognised across three time periods. This award underscores our 18- year track record and proprietary investment approach to CHF credit. It also encourages us to keep looking for innovative active strategies in the Swiss bond market to continue adding value for our clients. I would like to thank my great team for their outstanding work.”

Strong teams building on previous accolades

Further underscoring LOIM’s expertise in fixed income, senior portfolio managers within the Asia Fixed Income and Swiss Fixed Income teams have recently been awarded Citywire’s highest distinction – the AAA rating. Achieved by only 2.5% of active managers worldwide, this recognition underscores the quality and consistency of their three‑year risk‑adjusted track records and reinforces the strength of LOIM’s investment capabilities across regions.

These distinctions highlight LOIM’s long‑standing expertise in global and regional credit, supported by rigorous research, high‑conviction investment philosophies, and a commitment to delivering sustainable long‑term value for clients.
