Lombard Odier Investment Managers bolsters fixed income sustainability expertise with senior Portfolio Manager hire

Erika Wranegard joins in Geneva to manage LOIM’s TargetNetZero Investment Grade Credit Strategies

Lombard Odier Investment Managers (“LOIM”) today announces the appointment of Erika Wranegard as Portfolio Manager within the Fixed Income team, as the firm expands its sustainability expertise across global fixed income markets.

In her new role, Erika will be responsible for managing LOIM’s TargetNetZero Global and European Investment Grade credit strategies, alongside Ashton Parker, Denise Yung and Jérôme Collet. These forward-looking strategies focus on companies, which irrespective of their sector or current carbon footprints – have temperature trajectories aligned with a net-zero future. The two fixed income strategies currently manage more than CHF 270 million.

Erika joins LOIM with extensive knowledge and expertise in sustainable fixed income markets. She previously worked at Swedish sustainable asset management firm, Öhman, where she managed its Crossover Green Bond and Investment Grade Sustainable Credit strategies since 2016. She was also responsible for developing the firm’s framework for ESG-integration within the fixed income investment process. Erika started her career in 2011 at Morgan Stanley in London.

Erika is also a member of the PRI Advisory Committee on Credit Risk and Rating, a working group focused on enhancing the transparent and systematic consideration of ESG factors in credit risk analysis, and the Advisory Committee for Green Assets Wallet, the world’s first blockchain platform for validation and reporting of financial impact.

Based in Geneva, Erika joins LOIM in August 2021 and will report to Yannik Zufferey, CIO, Fixed Income.
